NexGen Utility Sales Welcomes Jake Harrison as Territory Sales Associate

[Forest, VA] - October 16th, 2025

Originally from Jackson, Tennessee, Jake was introduced to the utility world early on through his father’s long-standing career with Jackson Energy Authority. That exposure sparked a deep appreciation for the electric utility industry and its impact on everyday life.

Jake went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he planted roots and began gaining hands-on experience within the TVA ecosystem. His early career gave him a front-row seat to strategic planning and operations within the public power space, attending meetings with leadership across the Tennessee Valley and developing a deep understanding of the region's energy challenges and opportunities.

In his new role, Jake supports the senior sales team in identifying opportunities, building relationships, and supporting key initiatives within the TVA service territory. He serves as a bridge between NexGen’s product lines and the utilities and cooperatives that are working to build a more resilient grid.

With a unique combination of industry insight, people-first mindset, and a clear understanding of how large-scale decisions are made in the utility space, Jake is positioned to make an immediate and lasting impact.
