NexGen Utility Sales Welcomes Scott Hebert as Territory Sales Manager for Louisiana, Mississippi, and East Texas

NexGen is proud to announce Scott Hebert as our new Territory Sales Manager for Louisiana, Mississippi, and East Texas.

Born and raised in Loreauville, just south of Lafayette, Scott's connection to the utility industry runs deep. With both his grandfather and father building careers in power, this industry wasn't just a career path - it was part of the dinner table conversation. Watching that dedication firsthand sparked an early interest that would eventually turn into a calling.

He holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master's degree in Business Administration, combining technical knowledge with strategic business insight. Scott previously served as an Account Manager at CLECO Power, where he gained firsthand experience in the Louisiana power market. In addition to his utility background, he brings highly competitive sales experience from other industries, giving him a well-rounded perspective on customer relationships and performance-driven growth.

In his new role, Scott will serve Louisiana, Mississippi, and East Texas - and he's fired up about the growth happening across the power industry in these regions. As infrastructure evolves and demand increases, Scott is focused on supporting customers with the right solutions at the right time.

What truly fuels Scott professionally, however, is the people behind the power.

Scott is inspired daily by the linemen, technicians, and field crews who work 24/7 -through storms, extreme heat, and long nights - to keep communities powered. His father, a substation technician, headed out during storms while others sheltered in place. That work ethic left a mark. Scott sees his role simply: stay efficient, stay responsive, and deliver the best tools and technology possible to make life easier for the men and women in the field.

When he’s not supporting customers, you’ll likely find Scott cooking, hitting the golf course, or spending time outdoors - because even power professionals need a recharge now and then.
