NexGen Welcomes Ben Hunter as Territory Sales Manager

[Forest, Virginia] — NexGen is excited to announce Ben Hunter as our newest Territory Sales Manager. With nearly a decade of experience in the utility industry, Ben is poised to make a significant impact as NexGen continues to grow and support its partners in the region.

Currently residing in Orwigsburg, PA, a rural community about 1.5 hours west of Philadelphia, Ben serves on the Orwigsburg City Council and is an active member of his local community. He lives with his wife, their 2 children, and a household full of cats.

Ben’s journey to NexGen has been as diverse as it is impressive. Originally from Wisconsin and Minnesota, Ben joined the U.S. Marine Corps after high school, where he served during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. Following his service, Ben earned a degree in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego.

His professional path took him from California to Nevada, where he spent years as a Project Manager in the gold mining industry before moving to Pennsylvania to be closer to family. In Pennsylvania, Ben transitioned to the utility industry, serving as a consultant Project Manager with PPL and later as a Vendor Project Manager with MYR Group, working with LS Power, Delmarva, PSEG, and DLC.

Ben is excited about his new role as Territory Sales Manager, where he aims to help NexGen grow into new markets and strengthen relationships with partners. His passion for finding innovative solutions and leading teams through challenges will drive his success in this position.

When he’s not working, Ben enjoys cars, motorcycles, yard work, and spending time with his family. He even has an off-road RC car racetrack in his yard, adding a fun and unique touch to his hobbies.
