Territory Sales Manager

NexGen Utility Sales is an experienced professional manufacturers’ representative of electrical power products. However, we are “A Customer Service Company First”, that happens to offer each of our customers personalized engineering services to align them with our manufacturers’ products and services. We also specialize in identifying emerging technologies and bringing vetted solutions to our customers. Our customers include Investor-Owned Utilities (IOU’s), Municipals, Cooperatives, energy producers, project developers, contractors, and Renewable Developers.

Sobre el rol

Territory Sales Manager (TSM) works primarily with Electric Utilities, EPC Firms, Contractors, Renewable Developers, and our Manufacturers in support of our sales efforts. Experience in Electric Power Equipment Sales is preferred. Candidate must be a team player and ready to problem solve and use initiative to develop systems that support the sales department.

Objetivo

This position is responsible assertively and ethically growing the sales in their territory on behalf of our manufacturers and service providers while ensuring that every interaction is aimed at providing value and service to our customers.

  1. Actively develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

  2. Develops strategies for time management, administrative tasks, reporting, and all other assigned tasks.

  3. Strive to provide value and solutions to your customers through active listening, problem solving, timely communication and the highest level of customer service as you pursue your targets.

  4. Attend industry events to promote product and service solutions.

  5. Participates in education, training, and professional development.

  6. Problem solving, troubleshooting, handling complaints and answering questions.

  7. Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Calificaciones y experiencia preferidas

  1. Five or more years of sales experience.

  2. Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.

  3. Experience working with software systems such as Microsoft Office 365 applications. (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  4. Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or RepBox.

  5. Experience working with the Electric Utility/Power Industry.

  6. Excellent communicator with positive attitude and energy.
